Scream And Run Tier Lists

What is actually worth your time in a 50-player school hunt.

Tier List Hub

Scream And Run does not have a 40-character fighter roster, so this hub ranks the decisions that do matter: where you hide, which Robux pass you buy, and which playlist you queue. Rankings assume the [RELEASE] build from late August 2026, online 50-player servers, and a Cat in the Hat who owns open halls. If a patch retunes flashlight range or hunter speed, we will date the change on updates.

Mode tier (queue quality)

  • S — Escape. This is the badge playlist and the reason keys exist. Read How to Escape before you call the game unfair.
  • A — Free Roam. Best classroom trainer. No shame in learning backpack silhouettes here.
  • A — Hide And Seek. Best social playlist. Not a substitute for Escape badges. Guide: Hide And Seek.
  • B — No Power. High flex, terrible first queue. Guide: No Power.

Modes are not skins of each other. Ranking them together stops people from queuing No Power ‘to learn the game’.

Pass tier (short version)

Full write-up: gamepass tier list.

  • S — Infinite Lives (299 Robux) if you already understand rooms and keep dying on the exit. Officially works in Escape and No Power.
  • B — Grab And Throw (149) and Push Pass (150) as chaos tools. Fun, lobby-toxic, not required.
  • C — 2x Chance To Play As Cat In The Hat (599) unless you main hunter. Survivor mains should skip it.

Hide tier (short version)

Full write-up: hiding spots.

  • S: two-exit classrooms at crouch height, recently not scanned.
  • A: stair undersides and wall backpack nooks you can leave quickly.
  • B: bathrooms and single-door offices — fine for one check, bad for a full round.
  • F: main hall, spawn, flashlight-on corners, stacked teammate piles.

How to use these lists

A tier list is not a personality test. If Infinite Lives is S-tier and you never die on the exit, you do not need it. If two-exit classrooms are S-tier and the hunter just cleared both, they are F-tier for the next thirty seconds. Re-rank live.

Then go back to a how-to. Hides without controls still fail. Passes without keys still fail. Hunter mains should leave this hub for Play as the Cat after they know the S-tier rooms they are checking.

Related: survivors for teammate value, items for flashlight versus keys, codes if you hoped a promo string would replace a pass — it will not, and none are confirmed anyway.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions.

What is the best thing to buy in Scream And Run?

If you buy anything, Infinite Lives is the only pass that clearly changes Escape and No Power. See the gamepass list.

What is the best hiding spot?

A two-exit classroom at crouch height that the Cat in the Hat has not just scanned. Details on the hiding-spot page.

Is Escape better than Hide And Seek?

For badges, yes. For a social night, Hide And Seek is the better queue. They are different playlists.

Will a code replace Infinite Lives?

No confirmed codes exist yet. Even when they do, they are unlikely to replace a 299 Robux pass. Check the codes hub.
