Scream And Run Badges & Secrets Unlock Guide
What to unlock, how to unlock it, and what you are probably missing.
Scream And Run has four confirmed badges on universe 10761687472 as of September 2026. This page documents each badge, how to earn it, and the hidden achievements that players commonly miss. It does not include rumored badges without verification from the badge catalog.
Confirmed badges
Escape The Cat In The Hat
- Map: School
- Requirement: Complete a standard Escape run — find five keys, unlock the exit, leave alive
- Difficulty: Moderate — the 8.9 percent win rate reflects the learning curve, not inherent difficulty
- Tip: Start with Getting Started if you have not earned this yet
Escape The Cat In The Hat With No Power On
- Map: School
- Requirement: Complete an Escape run with the lights off — power stays off for the entire round
- Difficulty: High — 0.6 percent win rate reflects the audio-only dependency
- Tip: Learn the school layout in standard Escape first. See No Power for the full guide
You Escaped Mines (Mines event badge)
- Map: Mines (4–12 September 2026 event)
- Requirement: Complete an Escape run on the Mines map
- Status: Confirmed on the badge catalog during the event window
- Tip: See Mines guide before queuing the event playlist
You Escaped Mines With No Power (Mines event badge)
- Map: Mines (4–12 September 2026 event)
- Requirement: Complete a Mines Escape with power off
- Status: Confirmed on the badge catalog during the event window
- Tip: Same as above — learn the Mines layout in standard Escape first
Hidden item spawns
Community testing has identified item spawn behaviors that are not explained in the game:
Key spawn patterns:
- Keys do not appear in the same room two rounds in a row (observed)
- Keys inside backpacks are more common in hallway backpacks than classroom backpacks
- The exit area can contain a key — always check before starting the unlock
Backpack contents:
- Not all backpacks contain keys — some contain batteries for the flashlight
- Hallway backpacks are faster to search but more exposed
- Classroom backpacks take longer but are in rooms with more hiding spots
Battery spawns:
- Flashlight batteries spawn in backpacks and occasionally on shelving in classrooms
- A dead flashlight mid-run is a real risk if you have been using it heavily
- Carry a battery if you find one — do not assume you will have power when you need it
Secret rooms and areas
Players have documented hidden rooms that are not visible on the standard map:
- Rooms accessible through non-obvious passages — small doorways, gaps between objects
- Two-exit classrooms that serve as through-rooms, not just hiding spots
- Side chambers in the Mines map that Thomas the Train cannot reach (he is locked to rails)
Finding these requires Free Roam exploration. Do not try to map them during Escape runs — the time pressure does not reward exploration.
What is not confirmed
Rumors of a “secret ending” tied to finding all keys without taking damage, or a sixth key, have circulated but are not verified on the badge catalog. Until a new badge appears on universe 10761687472, treat the four confirmed badges as the complete list.
The unlock priority order
If you are starting from zero, work in this order:
- Escape The Cat In The Hat — the baseline achievement, everything else builds on this
- Escape The Cat In The Hat With No Power On — the same loop but harder, teaches audio dependency
- You Escaped Mines (during event window) — same loop different terrain, rewards map knowledge
- You Escaped Mines With No Power — hardest badge in the current set, requires both map knowledge and audio mastery
